Step 1

Hand in the report to the military unit commander at least six months before the start of the qualification tests. State your details, the name of the Ministry of the Interior educational institution, faculty, and specialty in which you want to study.

Step 2

Submit the necessary documents: • autobiography; • characteristics from the place of study or work; • a copy of an educational document recognized by the state; • the results of professional psychological selection; • three certified 4.5×6 cm photos; • material of a particular check from the Ministry of the Interior and the FSB; • medical documents (ECG, certificates of drug addiction, tuberculosis and neuropsychiatric dispensaries, certificate of an infectious diseases specialist, x-ray of the paranasal sinuses, FLG in frontal and lateral projections, blood sugar level, HIV, biochemical and general tests, Wasserman reaction ); • if at the time of admission If you are under 18 years of age, please provide a certified written consent for admission from your representatives – parents or guardians/trustees. 

Step 3

The following are eligible for a benefit: • orphans; • children of police officers on duty or serving under contract; • persons under the age of 20 with one parent – a disabled person of the 1st group; • ordinary and commanding officers who have taken part in hostilities; estimates; • military personnel who took part in hostilities in the North Caucasus; • police officers who served or are serving in the Chechen Republic; • children of police officers serving in the Chechen Republic; more than three years.

Step 4

The following are eligible for a benefit: orphans; citizens under the age of 20 raised by one disabled parent; citizens fired for admission to an institution; children of soldiers who died during their service; children of military personnel whose parents have been discharged and have long term service (more than 20) as a result of serving in the Russian forces; children of military personnel, whose parents serve in the military and are long-serving (more than 20). 

Step 5

Submit documents showing the benefit: • a certificate or extract from a personal file showing the death of one of the parents; • a certified copy of a military ID and a war veteran ID; • a certified copy of a military ID with a sign of participation in hostilities; • a certified copy of a military ID and reference to training.

Step 6

Hand in the originals of the documents on arrival at the institution, but no later than two days later.

Step 7

Obtain a medical statement. It is performed to confirm the results in the certificate provided by you finally.

Step 8

Do a professional psychological exam. It is carried out, as a rule, in two stages: group tests and individual interviews. Based on the results, you will be enrolled in one of 4 groups on the recommendation. Naturally, the best result is the first and second group of submissions, as it is their participants who participate in the competitive selection in the first place. 

Step 9

Obtain USE certificates in the required subjects: Russian Language, History, Mathematics, and Social Studies. In addition, take the optional social science oral introductory test.

Step 10

Get tested for physical fitness. Tests require you to raise the bar, run the 100m, and run the 3000m.

Step 11

Take a screening test for the use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. It is done with your consent and the consent of your parents (guardians/guardians). Payment is made at your expense.
